SalonBiz® iPad® App is our newest mobile tool to positively impact sales. With the ability to recommend products and book appointments from the chair or treatment room, this application supports these best practices by making them easy and electronic!
Making appointments just got easier. You can now reserve appointments by clicking the Add button to create new clients into the system and book their appointments.
Weʼve built in smart search service look up to make finding services easy - just type in a few letters in the service name or a key word (e.g. cut). The system will query your service list and display all services that match.
Creating appointments for existing clients is faster than ever thanks to the Rebook from History feature. After selecting the client from the client search screen, the system will display their last 6 months of service history. You can click Rebook next to the service and staff you would like to repeat or you can create a new reservation for a new service.
Now you can select Today or Select from Calendar options on the rebooking time frame menu. This gives you more flexibility when booking.
Security is simple and accessible right from your iPad. You can grant or deny access to the system and limit staff access to only create appointments on their own book. You can edit access from the individual employee files in SalonBiz Central too.
This can be changed as often as you like and if you feel you want to limit access outside of salon/spa operating hours, you can give users access in the morning and remove it at the end of the day - making it part of your closing procedure.
The iPad® Admin settings in SalonBiz CentralTM are streamlined, making it easier to manage the features from one screen. Youʼll notice new email options as well as the ability to mask the clientʼs phone number during the client search process.
Getting around is super easy, with “floating” navigation - both the service staff bar and the navigation bar move with you as you travel throughout the iPad® screens.
The menu also gives you the capability to change the default appointment to your own colors in SalonBiz®/SpaBiz®.
Keeping your client information current is so important; now weʼve made it easy to update that information at any time during the service cycle. The salon staff simply clicks on the appointment, then the edit icon and can pass the iPad® to the client to update their information. Getting those email addresses has never been easier or more fun!
Access your client information directly on the iPad® and enter their customized formula and/or any notes. Saving these will automatically update their client file in SalonBiz®/SpaBiz® with the new information.
Much like the Product Regimens, the new Service Regimen allows you to select services from 5 categories (hair, color, skin, body and nails) making booking the clientʼs next appointment smart and flexible.
Booking has been catapulted to the next level. Rebook different services with any staff and multiple services using the Service Regimen. When booking an additional service the SalonBiz® iPad® App remembers the last service you booked and is ready for more. It will even warn you if the client already has an appointment on the same day. Any appointments successfully reserved on your iPad® can even be emailed directly to the client!
There is a direct correlation between retail sales and client retention, so keeping things simple for the client is a first step in the right direction. To support the clientʼs at-home care regimen, we made recommending products easy by highlighting the “must have” item as part of the process. Noted with a star on the iPad®, it is also highlighted in SalonBiz® at check out. But we didnʼt stop there! We will automatically email the regimen to clients with an email on file!
